Late last year, Square Enix announced a plethora of titles in the Final Fantasy franchise for Switch. For Nintendo fans, the news was a bit surreal to say the least. While the Final Fantasy franchise debuted on NES, the series has mostly remained a staple on Sony’s hardware for the last 20 years. This April, a trio of titles will be available on a Nintendo system for the very first time: Final Fantasy X, X-2 and XII: The Zodiac Age.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will launch April 16 and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release April 30. Both titles will launch in physical and digital formats. Famed Final Fantasy artist Akihiko Yoshida created a gorgeous new piece for the latter game, which you can see below.

As of this writing, no release dates have been given for Final Fantasy VII, IX or Crystal Chronicles. Are you excited to check out any of Square Enix’s upcoming offerings? Let us know in the comments below!
