Late last year, Square Enix announced a plethora of titles in the Final Fantasy franchise for Switch. For Nintendo fans, the news was a bit surreal to say the least. While the Final Fantasy franchise debuted on NES, the series has mostly remained a staple on Sony’s hardware for the last 20 years. This April, a trio of titles will be available on a Nintendo system for the very first time: Final Fantasy X, X-2 and XII: The Zodiac Age.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will launch April 16 and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will release April 30. Both titles will launch in physical and digital formats. Famed Final Fantasy artist Akihiko Yoshida created a gorgeous new piece for the latter game, which you can see below.
