The TAG Heuer x Super Mario Collaboration Is A $2,150 Watch

There are collectibles and then there are extra rare luxury collectibles. TAG Heuer, the Swiss watchmaker, has provided fans with one of the later. The manufacturer’s TAG Heuer x Super Mario Watch. Limited to 2,000 units, the watch is a modified Tag Heuer Connected, which boasts an Android Wear OS. You can give it a glimpse in this teaser:

Sadly, as of this writing the timepiece is already sold out. At $2,150 it was already going to be quite a purchase for the average consumer, but it will likely climb to even higher prices thanks to the machinations of third-party resellers. Alas, with Nintendo and countless retailers unwilling to combat scalpers and their bots, even getting hold of a $2,150 collectible is proving hard to do.
