The Super Mario Bros. Movie was a monster success last year, pulling in $1.36 billion globally. Given the dearth of new content coming to theaters this year as a result of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike that brought production Hollywood to a screeching halt, it makes sense that everyone from studios to theater chains are looking to fill in the gaps. Enter AMC Theaters, which has announced that it will be bringing The Super Mario Bros. Movie back to the silver screen.
On June 28, 2024, fans will be able to head back to the theater to watch the premier plumber brothers take on Bowser and his minions. There’s no word on whether or not other theater chains will be joining in on the fun, but if we hear anything you’ll all be the first to know. Will you be going to see The Super Mario Bros.
