The Seashore, a Metroidvania style action-platformer, has succesfully reached its Kickstarter goal and so will be coming to Nintendo Switch on release.
The game is designed to be played in co-op mode and in fact centers on the teamwork between its two characters — a soldier called Gunman and a swordmaster named Spark, each with completely different abilities and motives.
Switch was chosen as the main platform for the game to release on (alongside PC) thanks to how easy it is for two players to sit down and play play co-op on the system. While the game may also see a release on PS4 and Xbox One, the campaign has a long way to go before it reaches these stretch goals, which makes it seem unlikely.
The Kickstarter campaign for The Seashore can be found here and, at the time of writing, still has a few days left to go until it finishes on March 14. A possible release date, meanwhile, has yet to be announced.
