North American Nintendo fans have had to jealously eye some really terrific looking steelbooks, of late. The UK has received steelbooks for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3, but North American fans have been left wanting. Fortunately, it seems at least one major Switch release this year will receive a steelbook in the region. Nintendo has announced that the Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Pack will contain a steelbook, exclusively available at Target!
The steelbook was previously announced for the UK market, leaving many to assume it would remain exclusive, as so many others have. As of this writing, it seems the steelbooks for the individual releases of Sword and Shield will remain exclusive to the UK, however.
