The Persistence hit PlayStation VR back in 2018 and was met quite warmly by critics at the time. This was thanks to the title’s fascinating blend of roguelike and horror elements. Take a look at the trailer to see what we’re talking about (note that the game is for mature audiences):
The Persistence will be hitting Switch on May 21. Here’s a quick primer on what the game will offer:
Survive aboard a doomed deep space colony starship, overrun with horrific and murderous aberrations. Explore, evade and fight your way through the depths to bring the ship back to Earth. Gather resources, upgrade abilities and fabricate an arsenal of weapons in this sci-fi horror roguelike.
