Last year, Developer Image & Form gave Switch owners two fantastic titles to download on the eShop in the form of SteamWorld Dig 2 and SteamWorld Heist. In just a few short weeks, Switch owners will be able to check out another title in the series when the original SteamWorld Dig arrives on the eShop!
The SteamWorld titles have all released to very strong reviews. SteamWorld Dig 2 was voted Nintendojo’s 2017 Switch eShop Game of the Year, while SteamWorld Heist just received our Editor’s Choice Award earlier this week. The original Dig also received that particular honor when it first released on 3DS back in 2013.
With the port of SteamWorld Dig, all but one SteamWorld title (2010’s SteamWorld Tower Defense) is now available on Nintendo Switch. Perhaps that game will eventually make the jump as well, but in the meantime, Switch owners will be able to download SteamWorld Dig starting February 1 for $9.99.
