Nintendo might not have the best track record with third-parties, but one developer that’s stuck by the company’s side for many years now has been TT Games, helmers of the Lego series of video games. TT is back at it once again, this time bringing The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game to Nintendo Switch on September 22. Yes, those are a lot of nouns smushed together! Likely also a lot of gameplay, too, as the Lego series is known for being packed with family-friendly action and goofy storytelling. Check out the first trailer below:
The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game looks to be continuing the tradition of multiple characters, platforming, and brick-building, but this time around the action looks much snappier than games past. There’s a sense of speed (and what looks to be some combo attacks!) that the Lego series generally isn’t known for on display, which is an exciting prospect. Whether there are other changes in store for the usual Lego formula is yet to be seen, but The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game looks to be shaping up to be at the very least another solid installment in the long-running franchise.
Will you be picking up the game when it launches this fall? Tell us in the comments!
