Over the last few months, publisher Wales Interactive has brought a number of FMV titles to the Switch eShop. For players looking for more cinematic experiences to change things up, titles like The Bunker and Late Shift have delivered truly unique alternatives. Now, the publisher plans on bringing yet another FMV game to Nintendo’s handheld hybrid in the form of The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker this June!
Where The Bunker and Late Shift are more like interactive films, The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker sounds like it will offer a more robust gameplay experience. As the titular psychologist, players interview six suspects in an attempt to solve a murder mystery. The murderer is randomly selected at the start from the pool of suspects, promising a number of unique gameplay paths and alternate endings. What’s more, during interviews, players can either choose from given questions or type out their own! However, questions can create ripple effects, leading to different fates for each member of the cast, as well as Doctor Dekker.
We’ll have more information on The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker as its June 5 release date approaches. And stay tuned to Nintendojo for a review of Wales Interactive’s Late Shift coming in the near future!
