As soon as Nintendo first announced the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter’s Pass, speculation began to run rampant about the game’s five upcoming DLC fighters. The first, Joker from the Persona franchise, was unveiled late last year. Today, the second fighter was revealed as part of the E3 Nintendo Direct: Dragon Quest’s Hero!
With various appearances paying homage to the the whole Dragon Quest series, there should be a look for The Hero that will delight fans old and new. The character is Square Enix’s second playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, joining Final Fantasy’s Cloud. The Hero will be accompanied by a new stage and new music selections, though neither had been revealed just yet!
Given the worldwide popularity of the Dragon Quest franchise, not to mention its prominence on Nintendo systems, The Hero certainly seems like a fitting addition to the game’s roster! Let us know what you think of the character’s inclusion in the comments below!
