Throughout 2018, The Pokémon Company has given fans a number of opportunities to acquire some of the franchise’s legendary creatures, both digitally, and even physically. This month, the final digital distribution will gift fans with either Ho-oh or Lugia, a pair of Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver!
Players with a copy of Pokémon Sun or Ultra Sun will receive Lugia at either Level 60 (Sun) or Level 100 (Ultra Sun). Lugia will boast the moves Aeroblast, Ancient Power, Skill Swap and Extrasensory (Sun) or Aeroblast, Earth Power, Tailwind and Psychic (Ultra Sun). Regardless of version, the Pokémon will have the Pressure ability. Players with a copy of Moon or Ultra Moon will find their code unlocks Ho-oh at Level 60 (Moon) or Level 100 (Ultra Moon). Ho-oh will also have the ability Pressure, as well as the moves Burn Up, Sacred Fire, Extrasensory and Ancient Power (Moon) or Sacred Fire, Brave Bird, Tail Wind and Earthquake (Ultra Moon).
The giveaway will run from November 2 through November 25 at participating GameStop locations.
