When Wii Fit came out back in 2008 it heralded Nintendo as the leader in unconventional workout routines. Gamefying exercise in a new way, Nintendo has continued to innovate in the world of video games for fitness, and that trend is set to continue this winter. Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise will launch on Nintendo Switch on December 4.
In this sequel players will be able to team up with a friend, which can always help make working out pass by more quickly (and entertainingly!). What’s more save data can be carried over from the original Fitness Boxing. There are three new instructors (Karen, Janice, and Hiro) that can be selected from, each with a unique personality. They can even have their outfits customized as players form a bond with them as they continue to participate in workout routines. There’s even the option to remove certain boxing actions, making this a much more personalized game than the original.
