While gamers can’t stop talking about Switch and its plethora of critically and commercially acclaimed games, none of that would mean too much if the system itself wasn’t selling; fortunately, that’s not something Nintendo has to worry about. Since its launch, we’ve received several updates about sales numbers, and Nintendo released another in the form of the following Tweet:

That’s right, to date Nintendo has sold 10 million Switch consoles. For a system that has only been out for nine months, this is an incredibly impressive accomplishment, especially when you consider Nintendo’s last console, Wii U, has only sold about 13.5 million units and it was released back in 2012. It’s probably safe to say Nintendo has turned its fortunes around and it looks like this momentum is unlikely to slow down anytime soon.
