There are plenty of 2D procedurally generated games out there, but not quite so many 3D ones. Enter Forever Forest, from developers Fictive Studio and Mad About Pandas, which boasts just that along with a story about “human hubris and living in harmony with nature.” Give the trailer a look down below:
There are some interesting mechanics being promised for Forever Forest, including dynamic lighting which “creates an additional challenge and requires players to move carefully in dark zones,” as well as distinctive “vegetation, population and weather” which all “blend into each other to create eight distinct zones that shape the forest.” The game was initially intended for release in November, but Forever Forest should be coming soon.
