Sushi Striker Demo is Live in the eShop

For Switch, at least!

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido is coming to Nintendo Switch and 3DS on June 8. The game has been mentioned in the last couple of Nintendo Direct broadcasts, but fans haven’t gotten to know much about the game beyond its press clippings and trailers. Thankfully, with this most recent update of the Switch eShop they can finally give Sushi Striker a real go, as a new demo has come to the console.

Unfortunately, while that gives Switch owners a taste of what’s to come, it does nothing for those who are planning to purchase Sushi Striker on 3DS. As of this writing, there’s no demo for or word of one coming to the 3DS eShop. There is the ability to pre-purchase the game on 3DS, however, so… yay? In fairness, the recent spate of software from Nintendo to do double-duty as both console and 3DS titles (Yoshi’s Wooly World, Super Mario Maker, Hyrule Warriors, etc.) haven’t been bad on the latter, so let’s hope Sushi Striker is similarly capable when it finally drops.
