Next week, the Switch eShop will play host to Super Saurio Fly, a 2D platformer with a prehistoric twist: players take on the role of Saurio, a pterodactyl in search of its eggs. Developed by FraxelGames, the title features screen-filling bosses and some very attractive visuals. We’ve embedded the game’s trailer below!
Using the titular hero’s ability to fly, players will traverse 16 levels in an attempt to rescue all of Saurio’s eggs and defeat the kidnappers. While 2D platformers seem to be fairly common on the eShop, Super Saurio Fly certainly looks like it has the production values to compete with the system’s best.
Unfortunately, while Super Saurio Fly has been out on Steam for a couple of weeks now, no reviews for the game are currently available to give us a hint at how the game will shape up on Switch. There won’t be much of a wait to find out, however, as the title arrives on the eShop April 26!
