While Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan is currently in the process of adding a chunk to the park dedicated to Donkey Kong, fans in the US are awaiting the opening of the American version at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s still a ways off, but in the meantime Nintendo has put some merchandise up for grabs as a sampler of what’s to come. So far, this includes plushes, drawstring bags, and more.
#SuperNintendoWorld is coming next to Universal Studios Hollywood, and to celebrate, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD themed items are now available @UniStudios!

The only way to buy these goodies is to go into the Universal Studio Store at the park itself. This appears to be limiting scalpers—a cursory glance on eBay yields predominantly Universal Studios Japan merchandise listings—but the caveat is that only those with access to the park will be able to obtain anything. Honestly, it’s refreshing to not see a stuffed Mario hat listed for $200, if only for the moment. Have you gotten anything for yourself? Tell us in the comments!
