Though the Wii U is considered to be a failure by most, it’s impossible to deny that Nintendo provided the console with a number of great games. One of the system’s more beloved titles was Super Mario Maker. Switch owners can see for themselves just why the game was so well-regarded when Super Mario Maker 2 releases June 28!
Outside of the newly announced release date, Nintendo has not provided any new information on the title, though it seems the game will likely see a strong focus at E3 this year. We do know that Luigi will play a role this time around, and assets from Super Mario 3D World will be incorporated into the game (though not the isometric perspective seen in that title). Players can also create slopes for the very first time.
