Nintendo Switch’s success has made it especially appealing to indie developers, resulting in waves of games, both brand-new and ports, showing up on the eShop. For some studios, bringing their games to Switch has just become easier thanks to changes made to popular game engine Game Maker Studios that streamlines the process of getting games running on Nintendo’s hybrid console.
Thanks to this change, publisher Abylight Studios has announced plans to bring over two games from developer Locomalito. The first game, Super Hydorah is a side scrolling shoot ’em up in the vein of R-Type while the second, Cursed Castilla, shows clear Ghouls ‘n Ghosts inspirations.
Neither game has received a release date or price tag yet, so be sure to stay tuned for more information in the future if they look like something up your alley.
