Last week we talked about the upcoming Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium which will be launching on July 22. One tidbit revealed by Capcom was that owners of the original Capcom Arcade Stadium would be able to download Street Fighter II for free for a limited time. Well, that time is now upon us.
Simply stroll on over to the Switch eShop and download both Capcom Arcade Stadium and Street Fighter II, free of charge. Don’t forget that you can also pre-order Capcom Fighting Collection and secure yourself a free download of Three Wonders for Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. So many deals to take advantage of! There’s a lot we could gripe about with Capcom, but this is pretty cool. I’ve barely paid attention, and I now legitimately own the arcade versions of 1943, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, and Street Fighter 2, all gratis.
Granted, each one of these titles is eclipsed by other installments in their respective series, but that takes away nothing.
