This past June’s Nintendo Direct broadcast revealed that Annapurna Interactive would be bringing BlueTwelve Studios’ cyberpunk platformer Stray to Nintendo Switch sometime this Christmas. Well, it seems Christmas is coming early this year, as Stray will actually be launching on November 19, 2024. Here’s the announcement trailer:
Stray is a third-person adventure game about a cat trying to escape a mysterious city. It has launched to accolades across multiple different platforms since its initial release on PlayStation in July of 2022. Here’s a bit more about the game from its description:
- See the world through the eyes of a stray and interact with the environment in playful ways.
- Roam surroundings high and low, defend against unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place inhabited by nothing but unassuming droids and dangerous creatures.
- Be stealthy, nimble, silly, and sometimes as annoying as possible with the strange inhabitants of this foreign world.
