With Star Fox Zero’s April 22 release date just around the corner, it’s only natural that information regarding the title is starting to trickle out. A pair of retailers have already announced pre-order incentives for the title, and since Star Fox Guard seems to be a first print-exclusive disc, fans may want to make sure they get their copy early!
As always, GameStop has the best incentive for Nintendo fans looking for some extra free items. Those that decide to pick up Zero at the retailer will be able to snag a Star Fox Fighter Patch featuring the Star Fox team logo.

For those looking to save a little cash, Amazon Prime looks like the more ideal choice. The online retailer offers 20 percent off the pre-order of any upcoming game, and Star Fox Zero is no exception. Pre-orders are open now, and Amazon Prime offers free launch-day delivery, meaning fans that take part in the offer will get their copy the same day as everyone else!

Pre-order incentive for Star Fox Zero?
I would love for Nintendo to solve the Super-FX-Chip challenge and find a way to get the original SNES Starfox onto the virtual console. A download code for that (and Stafox 2!) would be great pre-order incentives.
An E-shop download of a previous game in the series would make excellent pre-order/purchase through e-shop incentive.
It’s amazing how Nintendo is having so much “trouble” getting things to work on the virtual console, isn’t it? Kind of like the SNES games on New 3DS only, right? I don’t buy any of it,(literally) and am especially pissed that they think they can charge full amount again and people will pay it. Some will, of course. But besides all that, I would love to see Starfox on the virtual console, and even more so I would love to see an already complete game (Starfox 2) released on the eShop. They did it with the original Earthbound, rumors have it we may be getting the third Earthbound; so why not Starfox 2? That would be a great pre-order bonus, better than a made in China patch.
