Splatoon 3 is out now but one of the key components of the game remains on the sidelines. The three amiibo figurines promised back before Splatoon 3 launched were said to be coming this winter, and Nintendo is apparently keeping true to its word. The set of Octoling (Blue), Inkling (Yellow), and Smallfry will launch on 11.11.22. Nintendo has put together a snazzy video detailing what these amiibo will do once scanned into Splatoon 3:

- Unlock special gear
- Take in-game photos with that character
- Map your favorite gear set to a particular amiibo
