The 3DS saw a large variety of Japanese RPGs from developers big and small throughout its many successful years, one of which was The Alliance Alive. The limited power of that handheld was undoubtedly restrictive for many, but the developers at Cattle Call still managed to make their game stand out with exceptionally beautiful art direction. Soon, we’ll get a chance to see those designs in glorious HD, and there will even be a special edition for the hardcore collector.
The Alliance Alive HD Remastered will have two special physical versions available when it comes out later this year. The bigger one is the Limited Edition which comes with a physical copy of the game, an art book, a soundtrack CD, a collector’s box, and nine paper dolls of characters from the game. It will retail for $64.99. And then there’s the launch, or “Awakening,” edition which just comes with the game and the aforementioned paper dolls.
While The Alliance Alive HD Remastered doesn’t have an exact release date, or price for the other versions of the game, it is currently planned for a fall 2019 release.
