In a slightly strange sequence of events, South Park: The Stick of Truth is coming to Switch this fall, several months after its sequel came to the console.
Originally released in 2014, Stick of Truth follows the New Kid, who has moved to South Park and becomes involved in a role-play fantasy war involving humans, wizards, and elves, who are fighting for control of the Stick of Truth. Fans of the series will know what to expect from the game’s humor and the turn-based gameplay is similar to that of its sequel (albeit with a fantasy theme).
While there was no mention of the news back when South Park The Fractured but Whole was released on Switch in April, Ubisoft recently revealed in its latest financial report that The Stick of Truth will be coming to the Switch’s eShop by September of this year.
Will you be returning to South Park to re-play the adventure on Switch or have you had your fill of the town and its citizens? Let us know in the comments.
