Samba De Amigo: Party Central was announced by SEGA during the most recent Nintendo Direct broadcast. The game will be coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch this summer and promises 40 hit songs, minigames, online play, and more. All of which will be facilitated with the Joy-Con controllers’ built-in motion controls. If that all isn’t enough to get your hearts pumping, then maybe this will: Sonic is coming to the game, as well!
First off, Sonic will be a playable character. Second, he brings with him the songs Escape From the City (from Sonic Adventure 2) and Fist Bump (from Sonic Frontiers). Finally, there will also be a special stage based on the cityscape featured in the City Escape stage from Sonic Adventure 2. Exciting stuff if you’re a Samba fan, certainly.
