It’s a busy time for Sonic the Hedgehog. During the latest Sonic Central broadcast, SEGA announced a range of new projects involving the Blue Blur that are either coming soon or dropping in 2025. One of the “soon” announcements as Chao Tales, an animated series of “whimsical shorts” featuring the beloved chao creatures.
Chao Tales will be eight episodes long and revolves around Sonic visiting a chao garden. In the teaser shown, Sonic encounters a Shadow-themed chao. The series is a web cartoon, so expect to find it on SEGA’s social channels, including YouTube.
