Few things exemplify how the internet has changed culture than the rise of Slender Man, the subject of a creepy Photoshop creation that has gone on to become such a significant horror icon that it allegedly inspired an actual attempted murder. Of course, the results of this online fascination have also been fun, namely the games inspired by his strange lore, cobbled together from its open source origins online. While the first game was a simple, brief, and free horror experience released for PC back in 2012, the monster got a more proper video game experience two years later in the form of Slender: The Arrival
The second game did find its way to Wii U eventually, but it will soon be making the jump to Switch, as well. This will undoubtedly serve as a great opportunity for more Nintendo gamers to get their hands on the game as well as allowing existing fans to experience it on the go.
Slender: The Arrival will be available on the eShop June 20.
