Games with roguelike and survival elements have been exceptionally popular with independent developers for quite a while, and it looks like that trend isn’t waning yet in the upcoming Skyhill: Black Mist. Developed by Mandragora Games, the title seems to be taking plenty of inspiration from its peers while also offering its own unique setting and horror-tinged ideas.
In the game, you awake in a luxury condominium building filled with a strange dark mist and horrific creatures to find your daughter is missing. From there, you have to sneak, scavenge, and fight your way through the massive building. The trailer promises a variety of ways to approach each situation you encounter in the open environment, though you’ll need to make sure to hunt down the necessary food, medicine and weapons needed to survive.
Skyhill: Black Mist is expected to release sometime this fall, so expect more information in the coming months.
