Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is having a rough go of it ever since its launch on November 11. Since then, fans have encountered a myriad of glitches and problems in the game, chronicling many across social media. The deluge of criticism has come from fans and critics alike (and isn’t limited to the Switch version of the game, either). As of this writing, the Metacritic score for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is sitting on a 0.5 out of 10 User Score—ouch.

All is not lost, however. Thomas Williamson, head of Boss Street Games, the developer that handled porting duties for The Definitive Edition, has taken to Twitter to help reassure fans. Sort of. Here’s what he’s said so far (seemingly) in reaction to the rough launch:

As the tweets reveal, Williamson seems to be aware of the fan and media reactions when he says he’s “honestly enjoying this unparalleled level of scrutiny on our studio,” and then goes on to note that they’re working on updates. The other tweet talking about the moon landing and Han shooting first is up for a bit more interpretation, but perhaps if nothing else fans can take some solace in knowing that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be getting some TLC in the coming weeks and months.
