Ooblets Coming To Switch This Summer

Do you have a goofy sense of humor? Or maybe your idea of cute includes a dash of the unconventional or odd. Well it so, then Ooblets is for you! Prepare to collect seeds, grow ooblets in your garden, and face off in dance battles against other ooblets! When you aren’t dancing or exploring, upgrade your farm, customize your house, or buy a new outfit!

Lovers of Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley rejoice! Originally released early access back in the summer of 2020, Ooblets will be sprouting on Switch this summer!

Despite its cuteness, Ooblets developers Glumberland were involved with quite a controversy post release. The talented two member team at Glumberland initially planned to work with publisher Double Fine, but after Double Fine’s acquisition by Microsoft, the team decided to self publish. When they announced they would do a one your exclusive deal with publisher Epic Games in a jokingly, but somewhat condescending and sarcastic announcement post on their website, they received enormous backlash.
