Nintendo will be hosting a Maximus Cup event in Tetris 99 on August 6 at 12:00 am until August 9 at 11:59 pm. Accumulating at least 100 event points during those days will earn you a theme that features art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.
The special theme is likely to commemorate the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda and promote the release of Skyward Sword HD. Tetris 99 is a free to play battle royal Tetris game for Nintendo Switch Online members.
