Eastward is getting a more laid back addition to their adventurous game. On January 31, 2024 a new farming DLC expansion will be available to play in the game on Switch. Here’s the release date trailer:
The DLC was presented at the Day of the Devs Game Awards showcasing Sam and John in a parallel world that is more relaxing and cozy instead of worrying about the toxic plague known as the “MIASMA.” The two get to enjoy a farming lifestyle as they are tasked to rebuild an old cottage along with farming, fishing, interacting with other townsfolk, and attract new neighbors to Octopia. This looks like an interesting expansion made by Pixpel to develop an opposing timeline from the chaotic adventure to calming gameplay.
