Converse Collaborates with Pokemon for a 25^th Anniversary Collection

Converse and The Pokémon Company have teamed up for an amazing release as part of the Pokémon 25^th anniversary celebration. The footwear and apparel collection will be commemorating first generation starters as well as a few other beloved partners. Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and Meowth will all be making an appearance on the classic black canvas Chuck Taylors. A detailed addition to the shoes focus on the replacement of the tradition Chuck Taylor “All Star” Patch for a Poké Ball patch as well as the very top eyelet designed as a Poké Ball. There will also be a white canvas pair of Chuck Taylors that represents black-printed line art of the lovable characters along with a Poké Ball patch embedded on the ankle collar of the shoes.

Adding onto this exciting collection, there will also be kids-exclusive Velcro strapped shoes. Both Pikachu and Jigglypuff will have their very own inspired pair. Besides the sneakers, Converse will also be offering a selection of apparel from t-shirts, a commemorative hoodie, and a Jigglypuff crewneck.

You gotta’ catch these offerings when they make appearance on the official Converse website and selected retailers on December 10.
