Atari flips the script with its upcoming Atari 2600 My Play Watch. A delightful wrist-worn portal that will bring fans to the pixelated past with four timeless classic games at your wrist. This product is set to launch on June 10, 2025 and is priced at $79.99. In a world where smartwatches strive to be like miniature smartphones, this unique and quirky timepiece is less focused on notifications and more about counting points in classic games.

Imagine glancing down at your wrist and diving into a game of Super Breakout, Centipede, Pong,  or Missile Command. The Atari 2600 My Play Watch makes this dream possible with these iconic titles pre-installed and players have the option to interact via touchscreen or using the designed crown dial that doubles as a paddle controller. How awesome does this sound so far!?

While we do live in the current era of engaging through online society, the My Play Watch is taking a different approach with its lack of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities to ensure that players are uninterrupted mid-game from pesky notifications and constant updates. On the upside, the watch does include other features such as step tracking, calorie counting, and heart rate monitor as a fitness companion.

Beyond all the cool features and specs, the watch is customized with Atari 2600-themed artwork and sounds effects. The watch will be included with three swappable bands each adorned with retro graphics to allow wearers to mix and match. The Atari 2600 My Play Watch is going to be a charming anomaly among the smartwatch landscape. For those who enjoy the nostalgic simplicity of pixelated games, this watch will be a timely treasure to keep close to you. If you are interested, Atari is accepting pre-orders as of today on its official website. Who wouldn’t want to play Pong on their wrist?
