Japanese Pokémon Sun and Moon players will soon get the chance to add a very special Mimikyu to their roster!
The Pokémon Company has announced that beginning September 22, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores in Japan will be distributing a Shiny Mimikyu for Pokémon Sun and Moon.
The distribution event is a tie-in to The Pokémon Center’s Shiny Ghost Party Halloween merchandise line (which you can find pictures of here), though players will be able to download Shiny Mimikyu well beyond Halloween, through November 16.
No plans have yet been announced to carry out this distribution outside of Japan, but here’s hoping that we’ll hear something different soon!
