Shinji Mikami, producer of The Evil Within and former director at Capcom, is gearing up for the release of The Evil Within 2 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
Interestingly, during an interview with GameSpot in which he was asked about potentially bringing the game to Switch, he said:
“I think a Switch version would be interesting. I’d like to try it if I had the chance.”
Mikami said he first needs to buy a Switch, as he’s only been able to borrow one from one of his staff members in order to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Given that Bethesda is bringing Skyrim, Doom, and Wolfenstein 2 to Switch, it may not be too much of a stretch for them to consider porting The Evil Within 2 to the console as well, given that they are the ones publishing it.
