TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive have been churning out Lego games for years now. It’s a franchise known for some genuinely fun and creative installments, and Lego DC Super-Villains appears set to maintain that tradition. The game is looking all sorts of quirky and zany, which is great. What’s even better is word that more content will be coming to Lego DC Super-Villains post-launch in the form of DLC. As has also become tradition, that DLC will be offered in a special Season Pass bundle.
The Season Pass will be available separately or as part of the special Deluxe Edition of Lego DC Super-Villains when it launches on October 16. The Deluxe Edition will include:
- The main game
- Immediate access to the DC Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack.
- Those who purchase the Deluxe Edition physically will receive an exclusive LEGO minifigure (Lex Luthor Superman).
- Those who purchase the Deluxe Edition digitally will receive access to the Justice League Dark Character Pack, inspired by the comic book series Justice League Dark.
Fans can anticipate six Level Packs and four Character Packs to come as part of the Season Pass:
- Two of the DLC offerings will be in part based on the upcoming Shazam! and Aquaman movies. These will be offered as two Shazam! Movie Level Packs and two Aquaman Movie Level Packs, respectively.
- DC Super Heroes TV Series Character Pack and DC Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack will add characters from various DC TV series, including DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Black Lightning.
- Other packs include the DC Films Character Pack, plus Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack and Young Justice Level Pack.
