It’s been quite some time since Mario Kart 8 received any new DLC. After two fantastic updates, it seemed Nintendo had moved on to other things. An interesting new tweet from Nintendo of Europe could hint that the company is not done updating the title, however!
The image is clearly from Mario Kart 64, though the hashtag the company is using alludes to the series’ Wii U installment. This could mean the company plans to add more retro stages to the game, or it could just be an allusion to something else entirely!
