Party at the Resort for Less
So it may not be as good as an official announcement of a Wii price drop, but Nintendo has officially announced price drops for two of its titles. Both Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Party have been dropped from a $49.99 MSRP to a $39.99 MSRP. While Wii Sports Resort was Nintendo’s flagship title to show off the capabilities of Wii MotionPlus the press release doesn’t mention if the unit will be included with the lower-priced games. The price drop will officially start April 25.

High Voltage ‘Not Done’ With Conduit Series
When The Conduit released it received many accolades. Unfortunately, once the excitement died down, a number of flaws came to light about the game and it was quickly forgotten by Wii owners as a whole. So almost immediately High Voltage Software set out to fix the flaws with the sequel, Conduit 2. That game released today, and while it’s too early to see how the reviews are shaping up, it’s apparently not too early for High Voltage to start speculating about another entry in the series.
In an interview with Game Hounds, Conduit 2‘s Design Director David Pellas, when asked about a potential sequel stated that it was possible. “We don’t feel like we’re done with [the Conduit series],” Pellas said. “We feel like we’ve got a lot of great gameplay and story to tell. We’ll see based on how Conduit 2 does, where that takes us.” Also of note, Pellas mentioned that after doing a tech demo on 3DS, High Voltage was “really excited about that platform.” Be sure to check out the full interview below which goes into both Conduit 2, and High Voltage Software’s future plans.
