Christmas just came early for Nintendo DS and RPG aficionados. Nintendo announced today that Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation will hit the handheld system Feb. 14. The Big N also revealed that it would be publishing the Square Enix-developed game.
“Millions of players around the world have discovered the timeless fun of Dragon Quest,” said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of public relations in a company press release. “The arrival of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation in North America will give fans unique access to a classic game in the series for the first time, offering new ways to explore and enjoy the Dragon Quest universe.”
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation was released in Japan for Super Famicon (SNES) in 1995, but was never translated and brought over to North America. The DS remake will be the first time this iteration of the series will across the seas for English audiences.
