Wii Comes In Third During October
Once again it looks like Wii failed to crush its “competitors,” which now feature motion control solutions. While Nintendo and Sony have not officially released sales numbers for their respective consoles, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has gone on record saying Sony sold 250,000 PS3 units in October while Nintendo sold just 232,000 Wiis. Microsoft was quick to tout the fact that Xbox 360 had sold 325,000 units in October making it the best selling home console for 2010. While this may look bad for Nintendo, it’s important to note that Wii is still the best-selling home console of this hardware cycle with over 75 million units sold.

Michael Pachter Uses Press To Make More Money
Speaking of Mr. Pachter, he recently did an interview with The Escapist in which he went on record saying, “I use the press to promote myself so that more investors want to talk to me. That helps me get paid more money.” While this may sound like an extremely inflamatory statement from Pachter, it’s indicative of his entire approach to his job and how he has come to be referenced so much by media and gamers alike. The interview itself is a fascinating look into one of the most respected, loved, and hated analysts when it comes to gaming.

Ghost Trick Get “Strange” November Gameplay Trailer
Looking forward to the next game by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi? Ghost Trick, which eschews the courtroom-based drama of Takami’s earlier games will see release stateside January 11, 2010. Check out the latest trailer of this unusual logic puzzle game. It features a singing cook and a waitress wearing roller skates and a chicken hat. If that’s wrong, I don’t want to be right.
