Planet Crashers 3D Hits Digital Shelves Next Week
In a twist of events, publisher Ignition and developer Renegade Kid have announced that their upcoming title, Planet Crashers 3D, which was scheduled for a retail release back in March, will be ditching its physical copy roots and headed to the digital space on July 26 for a measly $10. That’s right, for the same amount of money as it’ll cost me to see The Dark Knight Rises this weekend, I get a full game. That ain’t too shabby.
Making the shift to the eShop shouldn’t be all that surprising, though, given this seems to be a trend for Ignition as of late. After transitioning their previous title, Order Up!, to the digital world, it should not come as a total shock then that Crashers 3D will be getting the same treatment.
If you aren’t familiar with Planet Crashers 3D, just know that it’s an RPG with turn-based battles, a reported slew of character customization, and supports some sort of 2-player mode that hasn’t been detailed yet. Which is odd… considering the game comes out in ten days. Oh, Ignition, when will you learn to get the release of a game right?

Wreck-It Ralph to Star in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed
Despite Wreck-it Ralph looking like a fantastic movie, I’m confused on why he’s apparently being included in Sega’s upcoming racer, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. While I don’t mind various characters from differing franchises being in one single game, I guess I just find it odd when Sega’s latest racing extravaganza bears a title that seems to indicate it’ll only be including mascots from its own IPs. That being said, I highly doubt Sega cares about my confusion, and thus will be pressing forward with the idea.
