During last night’s broadcast of The Game Awards, the full details of the second DLC pack for Nintendo-exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order were revealed. Dubbed Rise of the Phoenix, the new expansion is going to be adding a number of characters and features to the game. Watch the reveal trailer:
Here’s what to expect when Rise of the Phoenix launches on 12/23/19:
- Four new playable X-Men characters:
- Phoenix
- Gambit
- Cable
- Iceman
- Competitive Danger Room Mode for up to four players
- New Gauntlet missions
The Rise of the Phoenix is part of the Expansion Pass for Ultimate Alliance 3. There’s still one more pack, Shadow of Doom, that will center around the Fantastic Four and is anticipated to release in spring of 2020.
