We had a very good time with SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy when we went hands-on with the game a couple months back at NIS America’s 2018 press event. The game takes the core mechanics of the average fighting game and jettisons the cumbersome, complicated inputs that make them virtually impregnable to the average player. The result is an experience that’s simultaneously deep and accessible, making it a breath of fresh air in this particular corner of the video game world.
While that’s all well and good, many of you out there have been wondering when you’ll finally be able to play the game for yourselves on Switch. Thankfully, we now know: September 7! Watch the trailer below to see for yourself:
