A gentle reminder, folks, that the first major Nintendo releases of 2019 are upon us. Switch will be playing host to New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe tomorrow, while over on 3DS, that system will be home to Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Boswer, Jr.’s Journey. Here are the trailers:

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is a re-release of the 2012 Wii U hit. This “deluxe” edition brings in tow the DLC expansion New Super Luigi U, which raises the total number of courses to tackle up to 164. There’s also couch-co-op for up to four players. Nintendo is really emphasizing accessibility for this one, both in the form of the Super Guide as well as the additions of Nabbit (who can’t be hurt but can still fall down pits) and Peachette (a new form for Toadette that can double-jump and is rescued from pits).

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey, meanwhile, is also an enhanced re-release of the 2009 DS classic. This version of the game is largely the same but boasts the entirely new Bowser Jr.’s Journey, an adventure that sees the mischievous offspring of the Koopa King set out to save his father. Joined with the Koopalings, players take part in strategic battles where character and enemy types determine the outcome. Both of these titles come stuffed with content and shouldn’t be missed by the Nintendo faithful.
