The creators of Parappa the Rappa and Gitaroo Man have combined forces for a new Kickstarter project called Project Rap Rabbit, which is “an all-new, story-led, rhythm-action adventure” according to the developers. It definitely has some promise, as evidenced by the video below:
All was looking good to backers until they saw that the original stretch goal to get Project Rap Rabbit on Switch had a price tag of $4.95 million dollars. Needless to say, this left prospective fans exasperated, as such a high number wasn’t likely to be reached. Acknowledging their displeasure, the project’s Kickstarter page was updated and the team stated that fan response was heard loud and clear, and that the amount would be lowered to a much more reasonable goal.
