Have you heard? The Pokémon TV service was officially shut down on March 28, 2024. The news was announced earlier in the year by the Pokémon Company.
Both the app and the browser are no longer functioning on any device including the Nintendo Switch. Moving forward, when viewers tries to hop on the app, they should be welcomed with an Error Code:
Error Code: 2124-4609 – “This online service has ended. Thank you for your interest”
Pokémon TV was originally made available on the Switch eShop back in 2021 as a way to allow fans to watch past episodes of the Pokémon anime series for free. Though now that it is discontinued, other alternative platforms that fans can view the shows on include YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming services.
