The introduction of six new Pokémon might have seemed like enough new to excite series fans eagerly awaiting the November release of the new entries, but the trailer tucked in a little something interesting at the end that could excite a lot of hardcore trainers. The new feature is called Hyper Training, and it will allow Pokémon to boost stats even beyond level 100.
Hyper Training allows you to boost the base stats of your creatures, and this is even true for those already at the max level. Of course, such a potentially powerful mechanic does come with a cost. Hyper Training incorporates a new character named Mr. Hyper, who provides his services in return for Bottle Caps. These new items can be found in the world of Sun and Moon, but you’ll actually get a chance to get one early with the distribution of the new Pokémon Magearna later this year.
Pokémon Sun and Moon launches on November 18, which means there is still plenty of time for new Pokémon and features to be revealed, so be sure to sure to keep your eyes and ears open.
