Pokémon Smile is exactly the sort of quirky quality of life-type of application that Nintendo just loves to bring to its fans. The free app is an adorable way of teaching young kids the proper way to care for their teeth while also collecting Pokémon. Check it out:
In Pokémon Smile, fans must brush their teeth while using the camera on their smart device to survey their progress. An effective tooth-brushing will show the person on the screen defeating germs that are superimposed onto their teeth via AR (augmented reality). Players are also depicted wearing AR Pokémon caps with more able to be unlocked by playing the game. Notifications can be arranged to remind parents and players when to go brush. There are also over 100 Pokémon that can be caught and added into the in-game Pokédex.
